For your reference, the deposit structure below outlines the minimum and maximum amounts required, based on value of booking:

  • Value of booking $0 – $5,000 = Min. deposit of 15%, 25%, 35% or 40%
  • Value of booking $5,001 – $10,000 = Min. deposit of 20%, 30%, 40% or 50%
  • Value of booking $10,001+ = Min. deposit of 20%, 30%, 40% or 50%

If your customer chooses to pay via TravelPay Later powered by Slice Pay, they will be required to enter their Departure Date, and will then need to pay a min. 15% or more deposit (dependent on value of booking) with balance paid in weekly or fortnightly instalments (maximum 26 instalments).

Once your customer is approved, and necessary travel documentation submitted to Slice Pay, funds will be settled into your account by TravelPay. Note - Funds should settle within 3 business days subject to documentation received and approved by Slice Pay.

How do you calculate the deposit for each booking?

If you want to find out what deposit is required by your customer, please refer to the below structure. This shows how much deposit is required based on the total amount.

  • Value of travel $0 – $5,000: Minimum deposit of 15%, 25%, 35% or 45%
  • Value of travel $5,001 – $10,000: Minimum deposit of 20%, 30%, 40% or 50%
  • Value of travel +$10,001: Minimum deposit of 20%, 30%, 40% or 50%

Could customers use their own credit/debit card when using TravelPay Later powered by Slice Pay?

Of course! With TravelPay Later powered by Slice Pay, customers can use their existing credit or debit cards to pay the deposit and repayments. No need for a new card or application. 

Do customers need to pay any interest or late fees?

No. Customers will not be charged interest or late fees for their Slice Pay payment plan.

How do I market this to my customers?

How can the customers pay the instalments?

Customers who choose TravelPay Later powered by Slice Pay will be able to choose between weekly or fortnightly instalments after they pay the min. 20% or more deposit (dependent on value of booking).

Important Information. 

*Minimum spend $250 for 6 months and $500 for 12 months. Equal monthly payments required. New customers must apply and be approved for a Latitude Gem Visa credit card. Available on participating Latitude credit cards only.
Conditions, fees and charges apply. The plan is payable by 6 or 12 equal monthly instalments (exact amounts specified in your statement). As the equal monthly payment plan is for a term less than 33 months, the minimum monthly payment will be greater than an interest free payment for the same term and you may pay more interest on any other outstanding balance on your credit card account, as your repayments will be allocated to this plan first. If you don’t make your minimum monthly payment, for two consecutive months, you agree that all equal monthly payment plans with a term less than 33 months will change to a minimum monthly payment plan for the remainder of the original plan term. Interest may apply on any outstanding balance upon expiry of the promotional period at 26.99% p.a. Account service fee of $9.95 per month applies (subject to change).
